When we think of pregnant women, we think of beautiful, glowing women. Like wildflowers in a field kind of beautiful. Like tulle twirling in a summer’s breeze kind of beautiful. That’s awesome because pregnant babes are beautiful, but mommas-to-be are also vivacious, sexual, powerful babes! You don’t stop being a woman when you become a mom, and this is true even when you baby is the size of a grapefruit hanging out in utero.
Pregnant babes should take time to feel like the sexy women they are, and maternity boudoir gives them that opportunity. To the pregnant ladies out there, I know your body is changing, but those changes don’t make you any less gorgeous! Put on that sexy bra. Take butt selfies. Have sex! At no point during your nine months of pregnancy are you any less of a sexy goddess. You may not always feel that way, and that’s ok, but keep reminding yourself of how amazing you are.

I was thrilled when I got to shoot with Babe R. I mean, just look at her! She’s gorgeous! She’s also kind, funny, super smart and she’s going to be an awesome mom. Her maternity shoot was the perfect way to celebrate how her body looks and feels before the baby comes (which should be any day now!) During our shoot, she mentioned that she was having a hard time getting used to her stomach and not being able to see her feet. It’s hard to see how beautiful their bodies are when all pregnant women can see is their baby bump, but this photo shoot gave Babe R the chance to see how stunning every aspect of her looks. And we didn’t just focus on the baby bump, which I think is where maternity boudoir can go awry. We made sure to show off every feature Babe R is rocking.
