I love boudoir. That’s no secret. And I think every woman should love boudoir, too, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. There’s a lot of apprehension when the word “boudoir” gets mentioned. I hope if I can explain why I love boudoir, you’ll learn to love it, as well!

I always have a lot of fun during boudoir shoots. Music is pumping, there’s wine and snacks to go around, jokes get made and my clients get to bounce around on a bed in their underwear – what’s not fun about that? A boudoir shoot is so much more than a photo shoot to me. I consider them mini parties. It’s your chance to get totally pampered and celebrate yourself!

When is the last time you felt sexy? I’m talking straight-up, lingerie model sexy. It’s easier to feel pretty or beautiful than it is to feel sexy. I feel pretty every time I buy a new shirt or get my hair done, but sexy? That’s not something I feel every day. A boudoir photo shoot gives you the freedom to feel sexy, sultry and flirty.

If you can strip down to your skivvies in front of a stranger and rock a photo shoot, you can do anything. Trust me. The confidence you feel after a boudoir shoot is like none other. You’ll leave the studio with your gorgeous head held high, ready to take on the world. And you should – because you’re a queen.
Boudoir Photography Gives You a Breather
Life can get busy. To stay mentally and emotionally on top of it all, we need to take breaks. We need to treat ourselves. We need to do something that’s just for us. A boudoir session lets you breathe. You can unwind and put a pause on work, cleaning, cooking or wedding planning. You get a morning all to yourself!
It takes some women time to warm up to the idea of boudoir – I get it. In the Wisconsin, this is a pretty new idea.
