When Babe R reached out to me, she was in a bit of a bind. She wanted boudoir photos for her soon-to-be hubby but her wedding was quickly approaching. We had to get her into the studio quickly, but I still wanted this to be an amazing, empowering experience for her. Thankfully, we were both on top of things, and planning her one-of-a-kind session was a breeze. She brought along a small jeep we used in the background of one set because her fiance loves Jeeps, and she took my advice to bring along a white tee shirt she could tear up. I freaking love it when we get to destroy clothing in the studio!
Bridal boudoir doesn’t have to be all white. You don’t have to bring white lingerie or wear your veil if you don’t want to. You session should 100% be what you want it to be, no matter the occasion. Babe R made a joke during our session that she’s going to win the gift-giving exchange on her wedding day. She and her fiance are both excellent gift givers, but I think she’s right. She’s got this one in the bag.
Please share what you loved about your session. I loved how easy going and calm you were – I had never done anything like this before, and I didn’t feel uncomfortable for even a second. I LOVED that you got on the ground and did the poses yourself – that helped me feel like you’d been there and done it before.

Do you feel like you have a better relationship with your body? I feel like I’ve always been pretty confident and loved myself – I’ll admit that seeing some of the pictures of my “problem areas” was a little tough to swallow, but I found something to love about EVERY picture.
